Adele has spoken out about her fuller figure in a revealing Vogue interview.
While the most of the female world is obsessed with staying slim and fit there is still one star who is happy with her fuller figure.
The record-breaking singer, Adele, says she is happy just the way she is and her voluptuous shape has never been an issue in a revealing interview for Vogue’s October edition accompanied by a close-up beauty shot.
It is so refreshing to see a fuller figured girl on the cover. With its October issue, Vogue has definitely shown the spotlight on someone who is nothing like the typical cover models.
‘I enjoy being me; I always have done. I’ve seen people where it rules their lives, you know, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I just don’t want that in my life.’
As Adele told the magazine she surrounds herself with people who ensure she maintains a positive self image, in her words:
‘It’s just never been an issue – at least, I’ve never hung out with the sort of horrible people who make it an issue. I have insecurities of course, but I don’t hang out with anyone who points them out to me.’
The singer-songwriter, whose second album 21 broke the solo female artist record for staying at number one for eleven weeks, pointed out that she doesn’t want to be ‘plastered everywhere,’ but still she jokingly noted: ‘if I was going to be the face of anything it should be the face of full-fat coke.’
However, while she is currently in higher demand the ever, Adele was forced to cancel the first two dates of her U.K. tour because of ill health.
In a blog on her website, Adele wrote:
‘I’d rather not do a show than not do a good one for you. I have all day today, tomorrow and Tuesday to get better without having to sing or really do anything so fingers crossed I’ll be better.’
