Speaking of shortest marriages, this one was really quick!

It was a great 18-day run for the couple: Sinead O'Connor ends her marriage with beau Barry Herridge after 18 days.
After eighteen days of marriage bliss and eighteen days after they vowed to stay together until “death do us part,” Sinead O’Connor and Barry Herridge have had a change of heart.
Sinead O’Connor, 45, took to her official website Monday, to explain in an announcement that ‘within three hours the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behavior of certain people in my husband’s life.’
‘My husband was enormously wounded and very badly effected (sic) by that experience and also by the attitude of those close to him toward our marriage.’
‘It became apparent to me that if he were to stay with me he would be losing too much to bear… A woman wants to be a joy to her husband.’
‘So… U (sic) love someone? Set them free.’
In the statement, O’Connor also admits she “made a mistake” by rushing to get married after just months of dating.
This was a fourth marriage for the Irish singer-songwriter, who said her vows in a pink Cadillac at the drive thru window at the famous Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the marriage lasted only 18 days, but at least she, ‘Got married in Vegas in a pink Cadillac! Can’t get more Rock n Roll than that,’ as she writes on her website.
