Dubbed the sexiest woman on TV, Sofia Vergara is also the highest paid actress in TV business, says Forbes.
According to the mag, the 40-year-old Colombian beauty has topped their list of Best Paid Actresses on Television with an estimated $19 million in earnings between May 2011 and May 2012.
What can I say, she has the looks and she is in the money too.
During that period Sofia starred as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett (a hot trophy wife of a loaded family patriarch) on comedy series Modern Family, which earned her $7 million, plus Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
You don’t have to be a mathematician to notice that most of her income didn’t come from her hit show. The the other $12 million is from her lucrative endorsement deals like Diet Pepsi, Cover Girl and her clothing line at Kmart.
Recently, the sassy actress was so big, she was bigger than reality star Kim Kardashian (worth $18 million) and the following television actresses, who rounded up the top 10:
- Bethenny Frankel ($12 million),
- Khloe Kardashian Odom ($11 million),
- Tina Fey ($11 million),
- Mariska Hargitay ($10 million),

However, being the highest paid among her fellow TV actresses is not the only reason Sofia should celebrate, the recently engaged diva is also expected to be nominated for a second Emmy award this week.
