Fourteen Twelve people (including children) were shot dead and other 50 were wounded in a shooting at a movie theater in Aurora near Denver, Colorado. Reports reveal that a masked gunman is responsible for the massacre, which happened during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises.

Reportedly, the heavily armed gunman set off a tear gas bomb after trailers had finished, walked in front of the screen and opened a fire.
One suspect is already in custody. He was found with 2 guns (a rifle and a shotgun) in his possession and a third weapon was recovered from inside the cinema. The suspected killer was handcuffed near his car by some of the officers that arrived first on the crime scene.
Dressed in black, wearing a bulletproof vest, carrying a knife, rifle and a handgun, the man is thought to be in his early 20s. As for the motive for the attack, it is still unknown.
