‘Skyfall’ Teaser Released for James Bond Olympic Appearance

Apart from, “sort of,” helping Her Majesty the Queen in the opening ceremony of the Olympics Friday night, James Bond also appeared in a brand-new TV spot for Skyfall, the 23rd Bond adventure set for release this November.

The brand new teaser goes by so fast and packs much action and confidence in 30 seconds without actually revealing the plot.

All those striking shots – the 007 agent in front of the Chinese dragons; the hot, under-shower, make-out scene; James Bond gazing at the London skyline, the scene where he jumps off an exploding train – present just a few of the stunning images director Sam Mendes and cinematographer Roger Deakins are bringing us.

However, the pretty short teaser manages to get you excited about the latest Bond adventure without telling you the story.

All you can learn from the half-minute footage is that Bond will be taking up a challenge that’s related to M’s past, and will get himself into a train fight in Istanbul, but beyond that, the plot has been meticulously kept under wraps.

You can also catch glimpses of Javier Bardem (as the villain) and Naomie Harris (as a Bond girl called Eve). Set for a release on November 9, Skyfall looks like one of the action movies that are worth to be seen this fall.
