The turmoil in the Jackson family seems to be settling down as Katherine Jackson has been officially reinstated as guardian to her grandchildren, Prince, 15, Paris, 14 and Blanket, 10.
Actually, she will temporarily share the guardianship of Michael Jackson’s three children with her grandson T.J. Jackson.
At a hearing Thursday morning, Judge Mitchell Beckloff restored Katherine’s guardianship rights and named TJ as co-guardian until August 22. On that day, another hearing will be held and Katherine will become permanent guardian to the late singer’s kids.
He also added that she and TJ have had great communication and have been doing well in taking care for the three kids ever since Michael Jackson’s death in 2009.
This is the latest twist in the Jackson family turmoil that started recently when Katherine was reported missing and due to her 10 day absence (which was surrounded by rumors and false allegations) TJ was declared guardian.
During her “missing,” she was actually on a trip to Arizona at the heels of a quarrel about Michael’s will between his siblings Randy, Tito, Jermaine, Rebbie and Janet, on the one hand, and the executors of the King of Pop’s Estate, on the other.
In the wake of the fiery dispute, there were rumors of her being kidnapped and circulated many other recriminations. However, it seems the Jacksons have finally settled down their issues and they are looking forward to reinstating love and peace to their family.
