Here comes the bride…..and the groom: Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied!
The first photos of Portman and Millepied’s wedding ceremony hit the web and show the newly weds in the act of saying their vows or “I Do’s” if you please, in front of their close friends and family.
The traditional 45-minute ceremony between 31-year-old Portman and 35-year-old Millepied took place on Saturday, (August, 4), at a private residence in Big Sur, California, away from prying eyes, invasive lenses and interlopers.
Their nuptials were nothing like the commonly big, lavish, star-studded, Hollywood weddings. Much to the contrary, the couple was surrounded with family, including their 14-month-old son Aleph, and close friends including Ivanka Trump and Macaulay Culkin.
Instead of flowers flown in, there were wildflowers characteristic of the Big Sur coast, and instead of “fish or steak,” the menu was totally vegan in accordance to the bride’s diet. Also, the traditional wedding cake was replaced by tasty French macarons.
As for the pair’s attire, the bride chose a traditional white gown from Rodarte, accompanied by a crown of white wildflowers in her hair, while the groom wore a dark blue tux.
The Black Swan actress and French designer/choreographer looked like they truly enjoyed while they were doing the hora dance and as they were wrapped in a tallits, a traditional Jewish prayer shawl.
Well, there is only one thing left to say now, i.e., Mazel tov! We wish a happy married life to both Natalie and Benjamin.
