Who said summer is the season of love? Well, it’s certainly is not for actress Willa Ford and her hubby of five years, Mike Modano, who are divorcing as I write.
Yup, you heard it right men around the world: this beauty is back on the market!
Ford and former hockey player Modano told People in a joint statement through her representative that they’re heading for divorce.
“It is with great sadness that after five years of marriage, Willa and Mike have decided to divorce,” Ford’s rep told the mag. “They remain friends and wish each other success and happiness.”
31-year-old Ford and 42-year-old Modano were together around 4 years before actually getting engaged in 2006 and marrying the next year in front of 75 guests at a private residence in Texas.
Modano, a retired NHL’s Detroit Red Wings player – who had spent most of his hockey career with Dallas Stars – does not have really anywhere to go, but down in the female department after this.
While Ford, who competed on season 3 of Dancing with the Stars, currently appears in the Starz original drama Magic City.
